General Counsel Professional Background Ms. Adams is general counsel of Adams Capital, Inc. She is an attorney with experience in business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, complex civil litigation, partnership, corporate, securities, real estate and financial institution law. Prior to joining Adams Capital, Inc., she practiced law with a large Atlanta law firm, a boutique litigation firm, and the Resolution Trust Corporation. Education and Professional Affiliations Ms. Adams received a BA degree with honors in political science and psychology from Emory University. She received her JD from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association (corporate counsel, tax, and estate planning sections). Courtroom Experience Ms. Adams’ extensive courtroom experience includes the representation of financial institutions, bank directors and officers in valuation related disputes. Appraisal Qualifications In the course of litigation, Ms. Adams has reviewed hundreds of appraisals. She brings this legal and appraisal review experience to Adams Capital Inc.’s appraisals to ensure that the firm’s work product is well supported. Legal counsel associated with Adams Capital Inc.’s clients receive the support required to prevail in valuation orientated disputes.
